If you were to message someone who isnt “interested” in you regardless, nothings going to happen. Having the filter for me DOES help me find other gay people though — and it used to be my go to to find other asians in my predominantly white neighborhood. The ethnicity filter removal has hindered me more than helped

I 100% agree with you Nene. As a minority myself, you've expressed all my thoughts perfectly in your comment. Sometimes I just want to find others that are like myself. Ironically, the lack of an ethnicity filter makes me feel even more alienated, because now I can't even find people to talk to and I am surrounded by people who either aren't interested in me (not complaining by the way, it's totally cool if I'm not their type) or vice versa, I'm not interested in them because they aren't what I'm looking for. So I'm just. Alone, lol.
