An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commented1 Commercial posts are not allowed. Yet every time I get a message referring me to a third party spam website, I report it and Grindr either NEVER delete it or take ages.
2 If Grindr IMMEDIATELY deleted SPAM posts that merely contained links to external sites, there would be no point in people even trying this. So the problem could easily be solved. So WHY NOT ?
3 When I do report SPAM, I'm made to watch an advert afterwards. No why should I be shown an ad when GRINDR have fouled up by permitting people to send me posts that do not conform to the rules ?

Top of the list of complaints and Grindr does absolutely nothing to fix it.
Not only is this item top, but there are about 3 times as many complaints for SPAM as there are for the next item on the list.
How about:
#1 Automatically close all blank profiles that send out messages with .com links
#2 Automatically suspend any profile that gets 3 spam reports from separate users within a short period of time
#3 Automatically investigate any profile that is sending out too many messages
#4 Once spammers are detected, delete all the messages they have sent from other people's in boxes. This is important to ensure spamming is not worthwhile.
With these 4 measures, it simply wouldn't be worth anyone's time to send spam
