Ultimately, the decision to restore the ethnicity filters will come down to dollars and cents. If enough of us make good on our threats not to renew upgraded service, they will get the message.
Sadly, that might not become apparent immediately, so it’s my guess that we will be suffering without the filter for several more months.
Once the bottom has been negatively impacted, look forward to “exciting news” about how they listened to their subscribers, and have created a new level of service that now permits search by ethnicity.
As for me, I will not upgrade my service until the filter is restored.
