I think you guys need to have some ethnic minorities on your board. You would never have removed the filter because as an ethnic minority that was the only way I could begin to see people of my own ethnic group. Now you've removed it there is no point remaining with Grindr. We are all entitled to our own preferences you have now made it even more biased towards the majority because they probably use the ethnic filter less. I appreciate there are some of the majority who would filter positively looking for minorities but they are fewer than the average minority looking for one of his own. You on the board simply don't seem to be able to wear shoes and have pandered to political correctness. This is actually a backward step not a forward step

Just cancelled my subscription until you reinstate the filter. I live as a minority where we hardly register on the percentage scale. now you forced me into interacting only with racist members of of the majority., I have always felt the filter should be free that we would be fair to all races. The majority don't need the filter most of the time . I appreciate a few people prefer outside their own ethnicity. But in the main, the minority use the filter a lot more But you've gone the opposite way in a misguided approach to be politically correct

For Grindr to say they have to remove the filter to support black lives matter needs I just don't get at all. The complete opposite. to support black lives matter they should have made the filter free not remove it. I live in a virtually white area.. how am I going to get to see people of my own as a minority. People who won't display racist attitudes to me. I won't be renewing my subscription

By removing ethnicity filter you have cornered me as a minority. no blacks on my grid in a 99 % white area and I'm unable to search for my own ethnicity., this once again discriminates against minorities because we are unable to select our own preferences on an issue as intimate as ***
It was racist in itself to remove the filter. Knowing jolly well that once you are in a white area you cannot find your own as a minority, while the majority white can find what they want but Grindr got on the back of the timing blm activity. To become more racist while suggesting it was to become more woke and correct
