Update the app again
It’s keeps freezing up and lagging on my iPhone, making the phone also feel really hot to the touch. Doesn’t happen with any other app on my phone or on android, so there’s obviously some more “bugs to fix” 😝😊

more expiring photo
upgrade the amour of expiring photo u can send for all type of app versions. it would be nice u can send more expiring photos on all version of the app. free allows u to only send 1 expiring photo while extra adds a bit more and unlimited too. by adding 1 or 2 o each account would be nice.

Since the upgrade
Since the latest upgrade two days ago I've not had a single new message, ( I've sent a message and got a reply from that person, but no new ones ) or any taps and I've only been viewed by my two people. I'm thinking you've changed something so the free version we don't get seen by as many people. If that's your plan don't think for one moment I'm going to pay for something that was working perfectly fine two days ago.

Albums Access
I cannot open albums when they are shared with me. I keep getting the same error message (see pic). I have tried updating as well as deleting and redownloading all together. Please help!!

Filter out TS and TS lovers. Like wth
We’re men loving men. Lesbians arent using the app… so… i know you want to be inclusive. But i hate seeing “straight intoTS only”. Get your own app if you want a female. Or at list let us filter them out.

I cannot backup chats, the folder in iCloud was deleted so now Grindr complains (lies) about no room on device/iCloud which is false.
Insert above.
I managed to recreate the backup to iCloud folder by loading Grindr onto another device but the app still does not backup chats. There is plenty of room both on my device and iCloud, so stop lying to me about there being no room, what it expects to be there is not so recreate it before lying to me.

Bring back how fresh was used bc it’s annoying having to block so many people when before I just could’ve filtered them out
The new update is so bad and makes finding people interested in me 25 times harder as a transwoman on grindr

Remove Grindr Xtra and Unlimited. Remove ads. better auto Fresh. Profile verification. There a lot of fakes and spam people . 100 gay. No trans

Southern Connecticut + Long Island
If you are in southern connecticut or long island we consistently see eachother and match with eachother. Yes it may be a 10 miles length but it is also more than a hour drive.

a button in settings allows you to report any technical issues with the app right away.

Stop bans
People are reported for any reasons !!! If u say no to somebody he s reporting u, if u have been harassed and tou answer while he reported u u ll be banned !!! We re not under communism guys !!! We re adults !!! Stop the ban will make it more easy for us to discuss without the fair !!! Now people are reporting even if the discussion is going well cause they are afraid that the other one do before them !!!! Stop the ban otherwise nobody will use this app anymore !!! Fix favorites bug
The thumbnails of my favorites are loading incorrectly, I'll often have multiple thumbnails of the same person in place of favorites that don't have a profile picture uploaded to their profile. It is not always the same picture either. After refreshing the pictures jump around. I've already attempted to delete and read. Download a fresh copy of the app to no avail. This is on Android 13 - Google Pixel 6 Pro

Don’t hide top bar on iOS
When I am in the explore view I usually find myself have to work out the way to see the top bar. Where is my profile and filters for the explorer section.
It doesn’t seem to take that much of a space from my device, and I think I would prefer to have it fixed at the same point all the time so that I can use the options available there at any time without having to scroll down. Scroll up scroll down, scroll down.
I cannot see the justification for this behavior from the user experience perspective.17 votes -

Stop constant location pings
Grindr is constantly pinging your location. Leaving to a lot of “driving” profiles and the app generally being sluggish, while eating battery life which takes away from a lengthy conversation. I’m proposing that the app only ping your location when the app starts, or when the user refreshes.
