The freaking inbox refreshes everytime I tap the 'return' or 'back' button of my phone.
The inbox used to be NOT REFRESHING everytime I go back to my thread list. But NOW IT ALWAYS REFRESHES which irritates the hell out of me. Because I have user profiles that are pinned to top.
Also the RED indicator that shows A NEW MESSAGE has been received shows EVEN IF I DID NOT RECEIVE any messages. It shows as well WHEN I SENT the other user a chat and when I check if there were any chats that I received, to my surprise, there was none.

Make a better and modern app
Hello have you thought about improving the experience in the app? Most apps have updated everything to the year 2024 and the truth Grindr looks very old and I'm not just saying it myself, also friends and people who use Grindr, please make a more interactive app that people can upload stories, upload videos something more like tik tok or Instagram really consider updating it.

Your update is terrible
This last update is the worst!! messages that take hours to appear, impossible to refresh the grind, messages that do go, taps take forever…. It really sucks!!

Search filters
Please bring us back filters as they were before the last sh***y update...

The message will disappear on your side of the chat and show on the other person chat. You get out of the chat and back in it there.

Show users distance range/ filter profiles with no distance
Firstly, let me preface by saying that I understand very well the reasons for not showing someone’s distance if he/she does not want it shown. It can be a combination of privacy, safety, both or something else.
That being said, I get a lot of messages from people that hide their distances. Additionally, if I am using filters and the results are only profiles that have distances hidden, I don’t know if I’m talking to somebody 5 miles away, 500 miles away, or 5000 miles away.
We can preserve someone’s safety and privacy while at the same time helping other…

Need to be able to log into account on multiple devices.

Omg just fix this app on iOS
I am writing to bring attention to some critical issues affecting the user experience with the app.
1. Crashes During Taps Checking: • Every time I check my taps, the app crashes and becomes non-functional. 2. Incorrect Display of Sent Taps: • Taps that I send are not displayed correctly on any profile. 3. Excessive Notifications: • Notifications appear up to three times in my inbox (two identical copies in one language and an additional one in another language).These persistent issues force me to restart the app whenever it freezes, significantly impeding the overall usability. Stop wrong profile pics showing
The amount of times I see a profile pic and click on it only to realise the app is showing someone else's pic against another person's profile is ridiculous. This is one of the most expensive apps on the market. Get ya shit together grindr. I can watch unlimited streaming of movies for $9.99 a Month with no glitches yet this piss poor app costs $70 a month. Cashing in on horny men, you definitely need to improve the app...

datazione or dotazione?
In the italian version of grindr between the tags there's "datazione" which has no meaning in italian other than "dated". The word you were probably looking for is "dotazione" which stands for big penis.

Impossible to use
Every time I get out of a chat it scrolls or up Or down to the other chats and this makes the app impossible to use.
If I am texting with someone, the moment I get out of the chat, the app automatically scrolls downwards or upwards where all the chats are, this doesn’t allow me to have a conversation and have a good time with the app, please fix this, it’s impossible to use the app at this point.

Messages doesn't load
You should consider going back on the updates because the new changes are just not working at all. The grid doesn't update regularly and the Messages are not just working. The app makes them dissaoesr. The read but unanswered messages stay as unread and the chat ins not showing the full conversations. The messages list refreshes or flashes in a useless way.

Latest update issue
Do some proper work on your latest update version lots of people are complaining about this but still u do nothing same on you guys im very disappoint on you when someone said I'm pd u easily banned 🚫 them but when it's ur mistake you do nothing.
