We should be able to filter who can see us
Something as simple as setting the age range of who can see us could help prevent all the awkward situations where young users get inappropriate photos from users triple their age

Grind”hers” for lesbian, female and/or trans and trans attracted/curious community.
Sometimes I worry about the wrong person showing up at a meet up for some of my trans friends. I feel like a grind”her” for trans women at any stage would help prevent confusion and keep things in the open.

Unsolicited nudes
Before users can send photos there should be a reminder, "The person you want to send a photo to has selected never/not at first for NSFW pictures. Is the picture/album you wish to send compliant with their wishes and compliant with laws against cyber flashing?"

Money/cash words and icon use
I tried to update my profile to include that I will not go to another app nor will I give anyone any money and found out that you guys have blocked the use of that word and anything similar like cash or the icon that looks like cash. While I understand why you did this, I don't think you blocking it for everyone was the best way to do it

Age restriction for chat
There should be an option to set a limit how old someone can be to be able to send you a message. As a younger guy that isn't into older guys it's very annoying to get messages all the time from guy who are 40+.

Add Feature: Block contacts & Inclusive access
Adding a feature to block people from the phone contact list would significantly enhance user safety and comfort on Grindr, especially in LGBTQ-prohibited countries like Maldives with a small population. This would provide users with more control over their interactions and help them avoid potential risks or discomfort. Additionally, if the developer team considers implementing this idea, please allow access to all users, regardless of their paid or unpaid status.

Location
Allow not displaying (exact) distance for everyone, but do NOT allow mock locations! While this option would benefit some. it would make using the app more DANGEROUS by allowing cheaters, fake accounts, gaybashers...
If a real distance or location cannot be used, give the option from a locationlist through Grindr which CLEARLY marks that it is a 'FAKE' location!

Verified Accounts against Scammers and AI Robots
For the safety of everyone, can we have each account verified. A lot of scammers and robots are sending me messages multiple times each day.

Hide/Unhide/Verification
Verify everyone even if they want to hide their profiles pictures, but at least we know they are verified.
Just have options to allow hide and unhide profile to whoever they are interested with instead of sending them the pictures directly just unhide but not allow screenshots.

Instagram link should require VERIFICATION
You should be required to VERIFY YOUR INSTAGRAM LINK with the login process!
(It's crazy to me that this is not in place like on Tinder)
Verification is so important, partly for our safety to avoid catfishers with malicious intent.
But most of all for the VICTIMS of identity theft and defamation. It's crazy to me that you will allow anyone to personate someone with a profile link.There are so many people, straight and gay, that report this problem on public forums, and how this abuse is a big issue to them.
Grindr, you have a responsibility here!

Inbuilt basic photo editor for your own albums
As stated above, a very basic picture editor would be nice for if you upload a picture that needs to be slightly cropped or rotated to make the background less visible or the subject matter of your own picture make more sense.

Que verifiquen que el usuario sea el propietario de el número que registra porque pasan número de horas personas para perjudicarnos y eso no es justo para la hotra persona.

Take à break
Sometimes we find a guy that we like, and have removed grindr; but sometimes it doesn’t work and we come back, but we have to start all over again.
It would be nice if we could pause the account, so when we come back, we just have to ask to recover our data:)

Pre-emptive blocking
As a below 20 and a faceless profile (I just dip in every now and then) I'm so sick of the creepiest oldest men texting me calling me boy and saying rank things. I know I can block and I do but I wish there was a feature to preemptively hide your profile from users of a certain age. Cos creepy gramps ain't my style

Verify Profiles
We’re getting scammed GrindR should verify identities and enforce each and every profile to have an original picture of the person,to eradicate blank accounts we prefer authenticity rather than nakedness and seduction. And catfish a count furthermore why would gay people be scared of each other. SCRUFF is doing better!!!
