Verification
Grindr to introduce a verification badge. Much like other social media networks that have verified a users identity. This would help with identity fraud and also other people using your photos.

Make Profile Visible only to members with pics
Enough of these no pic losers with nothing on their profile. Need to have body or face pic otherwise you cannot view others who have them. No free shots on goal

Ability to see someone's front page only for a period of time after blocking (for safety if you've given out your address or no./workplace
For a second time I've given a guy my address late at night to get a block.... great. Is he wasting my time? Is he still coming and this is a kink, or is he planning to rob me of my possessions. Wouldn't it be handy to not engage with a blocked profile but see if they're getting closer in the immediate aftermath, and maybe have one live button to report them for having attained personal or security relevant information and immediately ceased contact.

Verifying every user when they first sign up- too many profiles with NO pictures!
For verification purposes. Like tinder and MOST other dating/hookup apps have some sort of photo verification system to prove that it’s actually who you say you are. I am SO SICK OF ALL THESE USERS ON GRINDR WITH NO PHOTOS! in my opinion, I think it should be a requirement that if you want to be on Grindr then you need to have a clear, visible unaltered face picture of what you look like, so other members can see who all is in the room AND it’s especially annoying when those exact people with no pictures on their profile go…

Age filter that goes BOTH WAYS
I am 18. I have my filters set to 18-22. For every users safety, there should be a way to filter out the people who are not in this age range from contacting ME. I am constantly disgusted to open my messages and find gross messages and pictures from 60 year old men. I don’t even want them looking at my profile.

make it so incognito can’t be used to track someone
If someone is on your favorites list and you go incognito, the people on your favorites list should still be able to see if you’re online so that you can’t favorite someone then go incognito to tell when they are online but them not be able to tell you are online

HPV Vaccine Status
Add HPV vaccine (eg., Gardasil) as an option under “Vaccinated for” in user profiles along with Mpox, Covid, and Meningitis. May consider adding Hepatitis A and B vaccines too (eg., Twinrix).

Please make sharing album mutual.
Please make sharing album mutually. i.e. The other person can only see your album once they share their's as well and vice versa.

"Block back" Block a Blocker
This blocking process needs some clear thought.
When a user initiates a block he can unblock anytime he wants and view, contact, harass or otherwise stalk the user he previously blocked. Furthermore, the person being blocked loses the entire chat. We have a right to that data. It is a direct conversation and we are entitled to access.
At a minimum, blocked users should:

Be able to flag profiles of guys who are unsafe
Had someone over the other night who was literally unstable. After a little while of casual hanging out, he started to have a nervous breakdown. He started arguing that my apartment wasn't mine (i even showed him my ID to try to get him to relax). hide from an individual

Make it possible to be invisible to other people in certain geographic areas like work or home for privacy.
This would allow you to not be seen by people near your home (neighbors) or coworkers. But even more importantly, for people like me who work in education, we wouldn’t have to worry about our students finding us if we forget to swipe the app closed before heading to work or something. Our students wouldn’t be able to find us by opening the app with a fake account they’ve created (not that hard to fake their age) and all the sudden there we are connected in a very inappropriate way because of our close proximity in that moment.
