Settings for allowing only people with pics to view my profile. Allowing only people with a face pic to view my face pic profile.
Tired of being messaged by people that don't have a pic when they wouldn't have messaged me if I didn't have a pic.
Who can view my profile: <dropdown>
- Profiles with pics
- Profiles with face pics
Otherwise my profile doesn't show up in the grid or in a search for them.

Fight the Catfish and Block Screen Shots!!!
It's simply appalling and disgusting to see that so many of your loyal users have been simply ignored by you over time in regards of a very important privacy concern: STOP the bloody Catfish and the Grindr Theft Picture, make sure to prevent the bloody Screen Shot. Is that really difficult and expensive for such a long time runner and staple of the gay dating app history in the Globe?

Disable albums on Grindr Web - Screenshots
People often use albums to prevent their private photos and videos from being screenshotted/saved. You can get around this quickly by logging into Grindr on the web and using a computer's tools to save them.
Albums shouldn't be viewable on the web, or, the album owner should be able to opt-out of their albums being available on the web-version.

Allow for blocking with out having to open and view a profile. May help cut down on spam.
In order to block or hide someone you have to tap on and view/open their profile which sends them a notification that their profile was viewed. Bots may keep this data and use this to know what profiles are active. By allowing to block/hide/report by long pressing in their image on the messages/taps/views pages and displaying a popup asking if we want to block/hide/report the profile may help reduce spam.

Block users
In my personal opinion. I don’t like the fact that any user can by rude and offensive with me and then block me and the whole conversation fades away and all the evidence goes away. I can’t even report that profile because it’s disappeared. So what? I have to be victim of verbal abuse and do nothing???
And let that person doing that to others like nothing??Verbal abuse. Spam. Scammers. Non showing persons. Unreal people talking. Abusive.
I suffer all of these in this app. And couldn’t even report them because they blocked me and disappear.

Did you forget or never know at all.
This has gotten so bad. There are more perfect looking trans profiles than men on here and they aren't even real this is small community where most people know each other and the Trans profiles are not real. This was a platform for gay and bi men nothing wrong with that. There are platforms out there for trans straight and lesbian people they should use those. Also the fake Only Fans profiles get rid of them they are soliciting for another website I don't even understand why you love that. It's to the point this isn't even fun anymore. And…

AI data training should be Auto Opt Out
I am so uncomfortable that everyone is automatically opted in to have their chats photos and locations fed to train an AI and even if you opt out the data has still been taken. THIS SHOULD BE OPT OUT BY DEFAULT I am horrified that pictures of me might have been used to train an AI when i opted out the second I could. This is shameful and terrifying

Bring back free blocking
Grinder is just becoming a cash grab because soon enough we’ll have to pay to message ppl. Wtf are yous doing putting blocking behind a paywall. Sorry it out because I’ve used this app for a long time and I know about privacy laws and this isn’t legal

Check profiles for stalking and phone farm setups. Also not allow people on app where you cant see their phone camera if needed.
Due to the most activity involving congressional use when you all went to congress to promote and support gay rights. A test user has been hit and I request to have all profiles removed if you cant see them on phone camera and to check each profile for extensive log on. They are not cruising for long periods of times they are logging on to stalk people. Please check all profile activities. AlL of THEM

Profile verification
Lots of profiles who send you site links with unsure safety and probability of being scam or virus.
Fake profiles of "sugar daddies" that would like to spoil you and ask you for your telegram (Which is connected with your phone number, scary)Not sure if the person you are talking to is real, actually lgbt, actually the age they added
Being sure with who you are talking to just with a video verification that lots of other dating apps uses is mandatory
Taking a picture on the Grindr app isn't a solution, since people would like to have creativity…

Feature Suggestion: Face Exchange
One issue I often experience (and I think many others do as well) is that when people are discreet or downlow, they ask for a face picture, but after I send mine, they sometimes don’t reciprocate even though they agreed to swap.
This creates an uneven and sometimes frustrating experience — especially in smaller communities (like where I live in small-town New Zealand), where being open on your profile isn’t always possible, and engagement is higher when you start with a blank profile.

A feature called Face Exchange.

Hide/Block Shortcut
Can we add the hide/block feature as a shortcut when you are on the grid and press and hold on someone’s profile please :) Right now you can chat favorite or tap but, can we add hide/block to that as well. This way we don’t have to click on the profile to then click on the upper right corner to hide/block. Especially now that profile views are a huge thing, let’s not add ourselves to their profile viewed list if we don’t have to. Pls :)

Camouflage Features for Safety & Privacy
Give us the option to change app name from “Grindr” to something else like Calculator or Browser (to safeguard users in anti-LGBTQ environments). And also if possible an option to change the app’s default yellow and black theme which almost everyone can recognize from a distance. This will increase safety and privacy for users

Serious Privacy Security Issue on albums with web app
Hello, I would like to report a serious privacy security issue with the albums. I have noticed that when an album is viewed through the web app in a browser, it can easily be screenshotted and the image can be stolen. I urge you to address and fix this bug as soon as possible, given the severity of this privacy vulnerability.

PROTECT TRANS WOMAN.
Ive been having cisgender men threatening my life, telling me that they would rape me and kill me and the rise of transphobia is not helping. Grindr stop protecting murders! It should be a more severe option of reporting these profiles. Trans women are in danger and yall really dont care about it.

sincero. Mas não proíbe os perfis fakes e sem fotos, os perfis deveria ter por obrigação , todos os perfis deveria ter fotos nítidas e verdadeiras. Isso é um absurdo, pessoas se esconderem por traz de perfis. Podendo ser pessoas maliciosas e de má fé. Você não pode colocar uma foto sensual porque fere as diretrizes do aplicativo. Mas pode ter um monte de perfis sem cabeça ou sem fotos, isso não é segurança. Porque por traz deve ter alguém malicioso. Pessoas do bem não escondem sua face.
