have had multiple account use my selfies for their profiles, account in the same area as me.
not safe when i go out in public, as people think i have been rude or left them on read - serious implications.
make it so you have to face verify coz it’s coming to far now

Make it possible to report someone who block me
After someone block me, I can't report him. I think that is a big problem. In some cases, someone who block people is selfish! For example, we agreed that exchanging pictures but he blocked me after I send him pictures. I understand his right but that is rude and make me occur trust issue. I can't feel comfortable to use app.

Data criação do perfil
Sugiro que seja possível ver a data de criação do perdi para todos os usuários ou que se tenha algum tipo de sinal indicando que o perfil foi criado recente. Está ocorrendo de usuários criarem perfil fake e conversarem com você, pedem para trocar nudes e etc. no dia seguinte recebi ligação de um suposto advogado dizendo que troquei nudes com um menor de idade e que querem dinheiro para não denunciar. Dual account access blockage
Log out on all devices, that way before you change your password/ slightly thereafter, in order to protect one's privacy and safety it's a simple feature that most things now have I think grinder should have it too #digisafe

Cyberflashing/Harassment
Cyberflashing is a serious problem of privacy violation and sexual harassment. Too many people sending nude photos without consent on this app. The category "Accept NSFW Pics" is useless.
I think the definitive solution for this problem is that you can't receive photos if your category "Accept NSFW Pics" is "Never".
And you can't send photos to someone who set this option to "Never".This is a critical function the community needs.

A user is trying to get me to give him $1,000 Walmart Gift card. He is threatening to so call expose me with the pictures I sent him and the messages I sent him. Give unlimited expiring photos
Sometimes you don't want creepy and/or abusive people to have permanent access to your face and/or nude pictures. Some people also live in extremely homophobic regions/countries. Anonymity can be extremely important for people who can't be out for safety. Give more expiring photos for free.

Blocking
One touch blocking. Just how users can currently Force Touch to favourite, chat, or report directly from the grid. Enabling one touch blocking would be helpful and efficient, and avoid sending a “who viewed you” notification to the profile which could allow people to see that you’ve blocked them in real-time

Restrict who can see me by age filter
Make it so we can restrict who is able to view our profiles based on an age filter. E.g making it so no one under 25 can view my profile.
This would be great for professionals who may work with people who use the app *e.g people who work with queer youth, teachers, counsellors (me) etc.

Ability to block phone contacts
There should be an option to block all contacts on your phone inside the app so things like family, coworkers or close friends wouldn’t be able to see you on the app

Temporarily becoming invisible
It would be fab, to be able to ‘pause’ your account whilst undergoing treatment for STIs. The profile will not appear on the grid, in chats or in favourites. We could mark profiles we have hooked up with and then when ‘pausing’ our profile this triggers an anonymous message to recent sexual partners within Grindr.

Extortion and blackmail as a result of cat fish unverified accounts
Grindr, to the best of my knowledge, is the only platform of its kind that does not verify users. Now I acknowledge that Grindr will not confirm this, but at least 25% of all active accounts are troll/cat fish accounts that are on the platform for the sole objective of masking their identity to lure legitimate users in, only to steal our (sometimes intimate) personal property. PIN reset
Can we have a button, link, or 3rd party authentication app to verify identity to reset the PIN number inside the app. Currently, you can try to enter a PIN unlimited times before you just finally give up. I cannot remember my PIN and there is not a way I can reset it myself from what I’ve experienced so far. I emailed support and they did not get what I was talking about and replied back with a “Reset your password” generic email. It could just be me! Lol 8545546 is the ticket number..

Blocking
Really need available option to block and block any future accounts they may make, it’s made to easy for guys to delete their account and immediately make another with same info and be able to message you again. I have multiple guys I’ve asked to leave me alone and still precistantly make new accounts and message me

Profile Photos
There seem to be more blank profiles than face pics. An in-app photo request for main profile pic would be great. This will hopefully keep the profile true, as I’m finding more people are creating fake profiles to snoop who is gay in their towns, which can be tough in small country towns

Sexual partners STD tracking and notification.
A voluntary system encourages you to record your sexual partners within grindr. Maybe when you meet up you scan a QR code, that then logs that those two users have had contact, in the event that one of those users contracts an STD they can click a button that notifies the other user/s they have tested positive. Because honestly trying to remember every guy you slept with with and find them on Grindr again to let the know isn't easy. This also alleviates the need for those awkward conversations.
