Already reached out indicator
once texted somebody, the app should give an indicator that the person has been texted not just in the last 24 hours, but historically so that sometimes when we like somebody very much and they don’t like us back, we know that we shouldn’t text him again because they're clearly not interested but when we don’t know the person has texted or not, we end up replying to their profile pictures, or giving a tap, even though we have already reached out to them before and been ignored, and that makes us look a lot more desperate and makes the…

AI assistants work with others to match
Taking things to the next level, everyone could have a artificial intelligence assistant this assistant would work with other people’s assistant to see if there’s a match based on what you like with other guys you’ve already hooked up with, stats, willing to meet location, looking for, etc.
and then only contacts you for final approval with this list of potential suitors. you could even see when somebody is visiting that is exactly your type and give you an alert immediately saying your dream man who is also probably into you is in town.

Lower subscription
Good day, so in South Africa the Rand is very weak and as such the R300 for Xtra is really a lot of money for most people. Don't get me wrong I understand it takes a lot of money to run this platform.
Might I suggest an entry-level subscription of R100 a month, I am sure many people will opt for that option, you can perhaps just have less features than Xtra but perhaps remove ads, a couple more profiles and some advanced filters.

Chats backup
I have been using same grindr xtra account from last six months on android mobile, and recently switched to iOS device and got to know that there is no way to restore chats across platforms. This is really frustrating. Atleast paid users should have this facility to restore chats across platforms. And how to do is to be figure out by you guys. Talk to both platform owners, take approvals, design the system but this facility should be available everywhere. Reinstate the free trial version on both extra and unli
It’d be great to have the free trial version first in order for us to explore and maximuze all features the app has which helps us for our decision making, if indeed it’s worth a penny to subscribe to either Xtra or Unli. Otherwise, the app is just futile

Fresh - profile restriction Extra limit
It is bad idea that you ad EXTRA restriction to fresh grid. Many people uaed fresh to tal each other. Now I see 7-8 fresh people in that grid. Also people who I can se on regukar grid when change photo and go to fresh I cant chat with them because they are under EXTRA LIMIT.
Please rolll back EXTRA limit in FRESH TAB

Vanish
Allow people to vanish or not be shown so when they are near people they don’t want to see them so close they can have their privacy without having to block people and then unblock them. Make it so it doesn’t show how many miles away you are and randomly generates a location when accessing the profile through a chat. My neighbors bother me a lot and I want to go outside again and be able to walk around the block without being stocked by strangers that think I care. Endless Advertising
I started as a free basic b*tch profile, so I couldn’t see who was looking at me. I had advertisements at the top of the screen, mid screen, tap on a profile or chat and would have to sit through a commercial. I understand the need to generate income how else do you keep people spending if you don’t try selling them on the next best thing. It is crazy how expensive this app has gone through the roof.
