There are quite a few females on the line as well as bi-married couples and FTM, maybe grinder should have multiple platforms.
Create a lobby where users can choose from several type-specific rooms. Just to try and avoid the negative comments from someone non receptive to being pursued by someone outside the comfort zone

Cowboy filter/tag
Maybe add a cowboy filter, would really like to find one around my are, live cowboys just hard to find them it would be nice to have a filter for them or tag

The algorithms seem to provide me with a selection of those available that would appear to match my age not necessarily my desires
My selection available is always different from young guys who I am with - even when I select profiles the same - I think it uses my age as the selection profile

Filters
Well, when we deactivate the “show me” option in explore, this should not mean that the filter option, for example, the person who deactivated the function does not appear, it is wrong, sometimes you want to see a certain person or a certain audience and you don't see it due to the removal of seeing it in explore, it's okay that there are unwanted contacts but the filters don't match the exploration, if you think like that the whole app is about exploration. It's a big hunt.

STD Status other than HIV
There are other STDs that are very common for example Herpes, HPV, etc. Grindr has an incredible potential to be an early warning system/ allow queer people to anonymously report or receive an anonymous notification if someone you’ve met suddenly tests positive. Or for people currently living with an Incurable STD it would allow us to meet others with the same to meet and help stop or limit transmission as a whole.

Filter for ethnicity type users are looking for
I feel that it would be best to add to the filter ethnicity types to help better search the kind of men each grindr member is looking for.
So far it’s good since we can search between tops, bottoms and versatile but adding the choice of ethnicity we are looking for would be a tremendous help and make this app so much better.5 votes -
Add “cuddles” to the “what we’re looking for” tag
Some people are asexual or sometimes just arent currently looking for sex. Sometimes, we’re just wanting to hold or be held- no sex. So many people will think “cuddles/cuddling” as a name means to cuddle and then have sex- it would be more efficient to have a “position” as “cuddle” or “no sex” even. Having your position only eludes to the fact that u might wind up wanting sex. We need something for those of us with a strict no sex boundary for that time period at least.

Please bring back ethnicities search
Please bring back ethnicity search. Some guys prefer certain ethnicity and I believe we should all be treated fairly in our choice of who we want to hook up. If it is possible to bring back the ethnicity search that would be great.

There is STILL NO TAG FOR CHASER WHY?
There is a chub category there needs to be a CHASER tag so that Chubs can search ppl interested in them....this has been requested multiple times by multiple ppl this is VERY discriminatory its an easy fix....trans...cis...biqueer all these diff tags have been added but CHASER hasnt been added after all this time

There is already a tag for chub - but not for chaser. It's like having a "top" tag without a "bottom" tag.

Str8 Trans Attracted category
Have a category for straight men that are attracted to transforming to identify themselves as . The majority of Trans. Women are not gay and the men that like Transwoman are not gay either. Grindr may have gender pronouns but it does not support Transpeople by separating gender from sexual orientation. Grindr classifying Transwoman and the men who like them as gay only adds to the suppression and stereotypes that are placed on them by society. The majority of men attracted to Transwomen are discreet and closeted because they do not identify as gay nor do they want to wear…
