Lets make grindr gay again
Lets make Grindr gay again, lets start by getting rid of biological women and m/f couples. We as gay men have very few apps to meet each other while biological women and m/f couples have thousands for example tinder, bumble and hinge. First it was our bars and now the very few apps we have to meet each, WHY?!?!?! why must we share everything with biological women just for the sake on inclusivity. Why can't we has gay men have our own spaces? Lets Make Grindr Gay Again!!!!

Sexuality is a spectrum. The meaning of gay is different from one person to the next and this is a gay dating/hookup app. Anybody who feel they are gay and want to use the app should be welcome to do so regardless of what's in their pants

Yes please!
1. It was already very difficult to find a match before the removal of the ethnic filter. Then they removed is so my grid is full of people I don't want to meet so I need to constantly go through "combing sessions" to block them all.
2. Then the grid has been overflowing with trans women and their lovers. I know Grindr doesn't care because they ride the hard left manifesto of "gender is just a construct" but I am a male and I'm only looking for romance or hook ups with biological males who are still males no matter what are the activists opinions are. Get over it.
3. OT but this is material for another thread: Grindr is selling the cunning Boost option so I can see even less nearby people. What's the point using Grindr then?!

Although I was supporting this cause, I have quit after reading the comments due to the inmature nature of the author insulting others.
I support no bullies, no matter how much I might agree with the goals.

First of all if women are looking for man of any sexuality this is not the app for them... Gay man have so little safe spaces, it's enough with share them with cis woman, Grindr was created for men looking for other mens, anything else is bullshit. -

@Nathan
I read every comment in this thread and actually @Hayleyrae isn't wrong. Which is obviously my opinion. And you'll probably tell me to go f*** myself as well which clearly shows your lack of maturity. But if you really have a problem with a couple women on here that might have been interested in gay men or a bisexual husband or something like that then maybe you shouldn't be on any kind app like this in the first place. And also for the record, telling somebody on a public forum to go f*** themselves is the epitome of internet tough guy which 99% of the people that think they're tough on the internet would get their ass whooped in real life! And I'm obviously in no way shape or form making that any kind of threat because I have no clue where you are at and I could care less but you'll probably take it as a threat and make some long and exuberant post about how you are some legit tough guy or something so when you read this just do me one favor and keep it to yourself because no one wants to hear you talk anymore. -

Sick and tired of spaces intended for gay men being taken over by rude a d obnoxious cis and trans women.
It's so frustrating to only have the option to see only so many profiles and about half are women who expect all the attention to be on them. I've had a few call me a faggot and have no consequences yet the minute they report me for not wanting to have sex with them or put up with their bs I get a warning and often have to fight to unlock my account. THIS IS A SPACE FOR GAY MEN! WE NEED OUR SPACES. Just because we are gay doesn't mean we should be shoved in with the rest of the alphabet soup.
Make Grindr Gay again!!!! Remove trans and cis women. Make a new app for them and the rude equally obnoxious closet cases that want them. -

This "request" is absolutely ridiculous! I am a bisexual crossdresser. I've been on Grindr for quite some time now and when I really want to hook up, the fact that there is a woman in my feed, has hindered the ability for any hookup in any way, shape or form. I've spent time in several large metropoiltan cities such as San Antonio, Austin, Seattle, Oklahoma City and Denver. I'd say that the percentage of profiles that claim to be women is less than 5%. If you can't find what you're looking for or are bothered by coming across one of these profiles then Grindr is definitely NOT the issue and either are the profiles of this very small ammount of women on this app. Creating a seperate app for us in the "trans" community is also idiotic and would be a waste of a long time body of work by Grindr and the people that keep it running.
To the person that created this post and the people that agree with it. What you are describing is discrimination in a way that you think is plausable and acceptable. When, in reality, NO form of discrimination on any level is acceptable.

I am getting frustrated with this! Grindr is supposed for men looking for MEN!!!! Just create a seperate app for those who are FTM and for those 'straight' men who are looking to hook to up with them!

Some couples want to meet gay guys. My GF frequently in the early hours wants to find a guy to fuck me, and there are lots of gay, and esp bi guys in the Grindr pool.
No discrimination please - as long as everyone knows the primary purpose (men meeting men) -

Have to agree. It seems more than just gay men on here , then you have all the guys trying to get you to join a club for sex.. how do these even get posted??

In my opinion, Grindr is a hookup site for gay and bi men. If you identify as a female, another app might be more appropriate. This opinion (as well pronouns) is shared by every gay guy I know (there are a lot of them. That's just as true in the gay mecca of Palm Springs, California. That being said, no one should feel unwelcome or of less worth. I'm just saying there's an opportunity to create an app or subsection of the current app, that brings transgender individuals, their admirers, cheerleaders and allies together.

I don't have any problem with anyone using the app that wants to, however the profiles we see are numerically limited. Gay men should not be losing those numbers to the hundreds of "straight" guys in our area that want nothing to do with men. I meet enough straight guys I don't have a shot with in real life, I don't need a gay dating app to bait them in front of me too.
The app should have the same thing that opens most dating sites, just a simple tick box selection of "I am: male/female/other, I am looking for: male/female/other."
Don't show women to anyone who says they aren't looking for women, don't show men who aren't looking for men to other men.
It isn't rocket science, and there's simply no good reason to force us all to scroll through pages of people who aren't evena viable partner.

@joey neal. I'm sure you have mistaken this survey with any other straight survey man. I'm gay and i want to meet gay men not trans or biological women. Get out of this survey please if you don't know of what we are talking about. Thnxs.

I agree with the bars thing. Last time i went to gay bar, half the crowd was girls and their "open minded" boyfriends. But i dont want to get rejected from dancing with a guy in a gay bar because he's straight. Truly, straight ppl hooknup everywhere. Some school focus on "social scene" which boils down to families and babies. Its ridiculous. I used to live in Chelsea which used to be very gay. Now its overrun with upscale apartments and moms with strollers. I dont mind working with straight ppl, but when it comes to the social scene, really... i want to enjoy my time with the guys. Thanks.

No. Wtf dude. Inclusive is what gay men want, and you want to segregate us? Get lost. It isn't hard to skip on by the bi or female. Don't ask for something and then go the opposite way. Just scroll past them son. Go away with your horrible idea.

I couldn't agree more. If I'm on Grindr it's because I'm looking for another guy I and not looking for a straight couple or a straight single female or a man and women's clothing.

I am done with this site. Cis women are now on her selling pictures of themselves. One used the F slur on me because I told her this is a site for gay men. This is ridiculous.

There are far too many trans women on grindr, it alienates the original intended users(GAY MEN).
Many of those trans women openly state they hate men and no CIS male should contact them,
looking at my own blocklist they are 95% trans women and there are literally HUNDREDS in that list with at least 5-10 new ones EVERY DAY, it doesn't help that those profiles pull in new profiles of people who aren't gay but only seek trans partners,
further pushing out the main demographic with potentially threatening reactions from those people.
Make a different app for them and remove them from this one. -

This is not a site for women. It's just not. We are not here to be a gay best friend. This is a hook-up/dating site for GAY MEN! or at least men curious about gay sex. Jesus we can't have anything without women and straight people forcing their way in. Stop women signing up.
