Stricter verification
I would like for Grindr to implement stricter verification for new and existing users in an effort to combat underage individuals posing as adults, bots, etc. I've heard a number of stories of men who have chatted with individuals who they thought were of legal age, only to find out upon meeting them that they're some horny teen. I'm proposing the implementation of verification measures such as ID (Government issued, driver's license, passport, etc), bank account, submitting a facial selfie with a piece of paper visible displaying a verification code, email verification, as well as changing the age requirements to make it so users must be 21 or older to join Grindr. If this is implemented, I'm hoping this sparks a new trend across the internet where sites implement strict verification measurements in an effort to keep minors off the internet.
I'd also like for all new and existing profiles be required to have face pictures of the user with a verification code displayed, with failure to do so resulting in immediate account termination. It should also be a requirement for both new and existing members to fill out their profiles as well

No you have to be realistic, this is a social media app and people like privacy, you can't force people

Grindr demands you give out your phone number in order to sign up for an account.
Claming it helps fight spam which is completely false, there will always be spam and can easily be deleted, as easy as hitting the delete button. Even Grindr spams us with their ads. They will also use our personal info with third parties even if they deny it, it's already out there in the web.
I will not give it out, you shouldn't either, it's common sense right? Privacy invasion!!

Sometime you decide to block a guy but he keeps creating fake profile
I’m order to bother you, stalker you or making some fun of you. Last year I had t face a guy with 5 profiles. It was annoying for me and illegal for him using other guys pics.Enrico

Muchos usuarios no usan su foto real no usan fotos en su perfil. Debería de haber una verificación sobre que si sean las personas

I was going to suggest this idea. I use an app that uses this technology so it does exist.

Every New User Will Have To Submit A Verifiable Document To Prove They Are Who They Say They Are. I believe this will help with determining FAKE accounts that seem to psychotically be everywhere. Another Suggestion Would Be; To get users more “involved” with the app and services, have the option for “Reward Tokens” to be purchased by users and then in return, they can of course distribute however many to whomever, which would then give the “receiver” (Gay pun not intended) the ability to use those tokens as a discount in their next month subscription or gives them the ability to use certain Premium members only options for a limited amount of time ..

Great way to ensure you have the account holder accountable and prevention of refending by making another profile might be good for a bio requirement

To Have the option of a verification! I'm not saying inforce it on every user as I know this app for discreet and taken guys also. there are third parties out there that offer a verification systems to social medias so it's not even like you'd have to create it yourselfs, the option would make this app a hell of a lot better not wasting time
How long do you expect to keep paid users when you won't address a wide spread problem on your platform? -

Get rid of anonymous empty profiles. No pictures, no profile, no verification. A great invitation for illicit activity and crime.

Shit down grindr because so many relationships are ruined by yiur apo and it’s features. Like incognito. The only person who wouid want to use that is a cheating scumbag like my ex to inflict pain not on the outside but on the inside of a good honest person my best friend took his own life because grindr was the main issue in his bf cheating, spreading lies about him, and also allowed him to fake many fake accounts worh my friends pics to embarrass him .my friend couldn’t take it anymore. Makes me very angry. This is a app for cheaters and not good honest gay men

CATCHFISH button to temporarily reverse a block. Send alert report incident along with notes and full conversation.
Catfish seem interest in you. Gain your trust so you send him photos and/or address info. VANISH or Block, leaving you vulnerable.

This is probably the most important thing to do because of fake profiles.. Some situations are dangerously bad

Require photos of personal ID to be submitted for profile validation of real people, aside from security reasoning for the trolls making threats/stalking/harassment, they're info gets directed to they're local law enforcement when they make threats or start stalking. Let alone it'll prevent annoying dumbass kids from flooding the app.
