Stop discriminatory moderators
Moderators of profile pics should be set to guidelines as well. I tried uploading a picture of my chest and stomach (above the belly button) 3 times and was rejected each time. I am a slim male so not much muscle mass. I decided to test a theory and tried uploading a picture of my husband who is muscular. Same picture type except his was below the belly button. It was immediately approved. I then tried uploading my picture again and it was this time approved. Just because someone has more muscle or the moderator is more attracted to them should mean nothing. By allowing this, you are perpetuating the stigma that attractiveness is the only thing worth noticing. This app may be deemed “social media,” but let’s call it what it is...a hookup app and even less attractive people are deserving of the same treatment as the “pretty people.”
I totally agree - it certainly seems to be the case that young white fit/toned guys get away with profile pics that the rest of us can't. The guidelines should be enforced consistently across the board regardless of age, colour or body type.
I agree that practices need to change so they are consistent across the board. I’ve also had photos rejected that are tame compared to what I see out there that is approved — which is normally young, Caucasian men. Literally photos of me at the gym in short shorts rejected for being “sexually suggestive” when other guys are posing on their beds in their underwear… like seriously, do better and commit to equity internally if you’re going to be so forthcoming about making change against discrimination on the app.

I am so glad thatI am not the only one. The Grindr's moderator team is the most racist and discriminates members, if they think what they look at is good looking and make their mouth water, they gonna immediately approve. There should be away to shut down this fraud and racist app!
