This would promote wrongful body shaming behaviors within the gay culture. We need to put an end to this kind of thing. This idea is inappropriate, and I would be in support of removing tribes all together because they tend to inappropriately divide the community at the expense of the emotional and mental health of some.

Not side or gouinage, FROT or FROTTAGE! Which the most precise term when it comes to non-anal sexual intercourses that include mostly body contact and rubbing penises - along with kissing and sensuality.

I would definitely love to have this feature mainly to educate people and make this term mainstream. i feel discriminated as a side guy. Other gay guys i talk to find it amusing, so in effect, I just say i'm top to make it sound more acceptable.

For people who are clueless what a side is, it is a gay man who does not partake in anal-penetrative sex; a gay man who enjoys all aspects of intercourse with the exception of anal penetration. He is not a verse, top or bottom, because there's no anal sex and you can not call him asexual too, because he still has sexual feelings.

Colloquially known as "Sides" in my culture-sphere, they're usually guys who identify as Top/Vers/Bottom, even though they exclusively prefer non-penetrative ***. An example of a Side would be a "BJ only top" known colloquially as a "Waste of Time" or a "BJ only bottom", known colloquially as "Unirrigated" coz he hasn't douched and doesn't know how to effectively yet, or just doesn't care because he never hosts and doesn't have to clean the carpet.

Other types of non-penetrative *** include handjobs, frottage, intercrural, oral, scissoring. It all sounds like foreplay to me. But for some, that's all they seek.

I don’t think this is a good idea because if this option was given it would mean that on an official level, Grindr would be sanctioning the usage of their app directly for ****** usage, which is against the law in many states a sit would be seen as a means of sanctioning promiscuous ****** activity and even possible prostitution. This app is an app for gay/trans/bi/***** men to meet and socialize. This app is not a hookup app, at least not officially speaking. (Which is why they have the “report innapropriate behavior” options. It would also be sending a horrible message to the LGBTQ community that all gay men want it to have *** or JO, or get BJ etc etc and I’m personally tired of being viewed at that for that stereotype. Split the Tribes into something like "I am" and "I look for". There may be Twinks looking for Bears, or Jocks looking for Otters, but you never know if someone represents that tribe or if they're looking for someone of that tribe...

So there are options for tops, bottoms, and verse but there are no options for sides I'm a side.
