Or send a 'link request' to your partner, so you have individual profiles but can be 'linked' for when you're both online looking for couples play in the same location. If linked and more than set distance apart shows as solo play, if in same location shows as couple play . . . can't hurt.

I wouldn’t say use it as couple profiles but just for those who have Grindr on multiple devices, it’s nice to be able to pick up a conversation from one device to the next with no gap/missing chats.
