Body Type and Position clear field on every logout
Every time I logout, i have to re-enter (in "my Type") the Body Type and Position. Everything else stays, but these two clear on EVERY logout. Something is wrong there. Didn't used to do that.

more expiring photo
upgrade the amour of expiring photo u can send for all type of app versions. it would be nice u can send more expiring photos on all version of the app. free allows u to only send 1 expiring photo while extra adds a bit more and unlimited too. by adding 1 or 2 o each account would be nice.

I’m a he/they but y’all want me to be one or the other which truly misses the pount
as an ftm I’m a he/they, removing custom pronouns makes it just that much harder to be trans here (and makes me really regret paying for 6 months in advance)

Bring back the separate online filter from the list and the favorites.
The filters were working separately before, and it was working fine. It’s a pain in the ass to always unfilter the favorites if I’m looking to write to someone.

Remove dark veil on profile pictures
On profiles, pictures are darken to ensure legibility of white text, which adds unnecessary blur. Please let the pictures shine as intended by the user and stop adding a black layer. (You could use shadow on the font instead.)

Do not mark conversations as read of long press preview
When long pressing on a conversation in the messages tab Grindr gives you a preview of your latest messages. This is really useful to avoid marking messages as read. However, now when switching to another tab after previewing, the messages are marked as read. It’s likely a bug, please fix it!

Deletes all chats at least 2 times a week, use to be maybe once a month … paying a subscription for what????

Getting all of the glitches worked out.
I definitely feel as if the app can use some serious work. As I was chatting with some individuals this morning, the app crashes out of nowhere and every time that I would click the app, it would just go back to my phone screen. I know that I’m not the only person that keeps experiencing this problem. It would be great if the problem could be fixed ASAP because it’s getting frustrating.

No photos
There are literally no photos on the entirety of the app, I can’t see anybody’s profile pictures I can’t see any of the images people send me I can’t even see the pictures on my own profile. no photos.

Creating a stable update for 8.4.1 as since this update the app is now unusable
The app is totally useless since 8.4.1
I am experiencing crashes almost daily and even chat back ups are failing.
As a Xtra subscriber this is totally unacceptable as I have lost a months service at least.
Grindr gave acknowledged the issue but have offered no timescale for a fix.• A very unhappy subscriber and early adopter of Grindr

Need to fix issue with albums
If someone only has an album with no other pics you cant scroll up to read profile info. I'm a beta tester I think so maybe this issue is being looked into. If there are other pics u can scroll down on pic but not on album.

Gifs should load like pictures in the message preview area, not send immediately after touching them

SEARCH BAR
WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WOULD REMOVE THAT FEATURE??! Grindr is based on Chatting. How do you expect us to find our old/important messages.
I use the search bar to look for keywords like 'Whatsapp' so I could find the guys who gave me their Whatsapp numbers lol. Ugh. I AM SO PISSED.
PLEASE BRING IT BACK.

Require face pics & Men only
As an app originally intended and still almost exclusively used for and by men interested in other men, to now have scores of female profiles and transgender individuals who clearly don’t fit the crowd and stick out like ingrown toe nails, is both extremely obnoxious & moderately offensive, and also indicates that Grindr’s current owners aren’t taking their true base of customers seriously anymore, if they ever did. Give users control over who can view and message them.
Sick to death of being spammed with notifications from blanks or other countries.
