Got Banned - probably hacked - no help
I had a flurry of messages this morning, when I opened Grindr to check, I had a notice saying that I’d been banned and that this was a human decision, not an AI one. I’m not sure what has happened as it’s been several weeks since I was online. It seems either my account was hacked or the app itself has been hacked. Clicking a link asked me to sign into my account on web browser.
As if this was not disturbing enough, there doesn’t appear to be a way to report this. I’d rather like this to be resolved…

Shared Location
It would be cool where with just like an album, you can see who you’ve shared your location with in the past and revoke it from one interface. You could just click on people from a list to unsend locations that way rather than having to go into each chat and unsending one by one. Useful in case you send a home or other location that would be sensitive and you can’t recall who you sent it to.

fake profiles
To prevent fake profiles from being problem, all you have to do is allow users to block profiles with no geo tag.
My neighbour is constantly bombarding me with fake pictures and requests. And I often miss that he has no GPS. Fake profiles and impersonators always have their location turned off.

Require Profile Photos: Ban Blank Profiles
Blank profiles ruin the user experience and create major safety risks. Requiring every account to have at least one valid profile picture will eliminate ghost profiles, cut down on bots/spammers, and significantly help protect against underage users trying to stay hidden on the app.

Fixing Album Privacy: Mutual Unlocks and Anti-Ghosting Safeguards
My biggest problem with the app is how the album feature works. Sometimes someone refuses to show me their album, maybe because I'm not their type or because they know me personally, but they still get to look at mine if i shared first. This feels very unfair. It would be much better and fairer if the app had a rule where nobody can open my album unless they have also shared their album with me first. Additionally, to prevent people from just looking and immediately blocking, the app should not allow users to block each other until both albums…

In regions where LGBTQIA+ individuals face severe social stigma and limited legal support, bad actors frequently misuse Grindr for sextortion, forced outing, and setup robberies. I am requesting the implementation of a targeted safety suite called "Guardian Mode" to protect users in vulnerable markets.
Key Proposed Capabilities:
1. Dynamic Recipient Watermarking: Overlay recipient-specific account IDs onto shared media and enforce strict native screenshot blocking to prevent blackmail.
2. One-Tap "Purge & Preserve": An automated threat detection trigger that packages encrypted chat logs (for evidence) and instantly wipes the chat while unmatching, cutting off an extortionist's leverage.

I think it would be interesting to add the option to leave a comment on people's profiles—for example, if I went on a date with someone, I could post a comment or feedback on their profile. This helps people have safer dates.

I’m being stalked online Grindr through people favoriting my profile it’s rediculous that I can’t see who is favoriting my profile. The amount of access that provides is unparalleled I should be able to block people from favoriting my profile

Allow profiles to be created on web
Allow users to create a profile on Grindr web without needing to download the app. Not everyone wants to download an app on their phone (look at the success Sniffies is having).

Trade Picture Feature
Grindr will have a private picture. Or you can maintain using the album. For this to activate, both profile should have their face picture on the album or the private picture. So when both party consent to trade picture, they will have access to each other's face picture. This is to guarantee privacy so you know who you are chatting and to guarantee fairness of trade. It is so hard when the other party suddenly wont send their picture after agreeing to trade

Ai and information collecting on Grindr Application
I woke up this morning to a notification from Grindr asking to allow information collection for Ai. EVERYTHING about this idea seems exceptionally problematic. For a site that's sole purpose is for the communication and connection of REAL people to people why and or what does Grinder want with any interest in Ai. Sure maybe for ad bot making, I get it, I'm mostly a free member too and circumventing ad bots is the price I pay for being too cheap to pay for the app full time, and I personally love Ai as a tool for my favorite porn…

Scammer
There is a pathetic scammer using this app. When he messaged me, his screen name was ❤️toosuck🍆. He seemed too hot to be true, but I exchanged numbers because, well, he was really hot. Shortly after we started texting, he blocked me on here and then sent me several screenshots from one of those free reverse phone number lookup sites. He did find my name, but most of the personal information he tried to threaten me with was years out of date. But he did try to scare me into sending him $5,000 or he would send my nudes to…

Location accuracy
In privacy settings we should be able to set our individual location accuracy manually. Similar to how it's done on right now posts.

The blockers who get yours personnal info
I thinks the blockers are the main issues on the app and they bring is bad reputation.
When you send your location, adresss, personnel photo, phone numbers and you wait that personnwho was suppose to come. Finally, the guy just blocked you and your not able to keep any info on that person. This person can keep all your attached and infos in conversation.
Well I suggest that:
