Verify account to reduce Ghosting and fake profiles
It appears Hosting and fake profile to solicit pictures and to raise user emotions before ghosting them is becoming more common than not.
Not only does this impact the mental health of users who are being ghosted, but it seriously impacts the user and makes them question their existence without our community.
Fake users are getting off on getting attention but never following through, nor ever going to meet, but lead the user on before blocking them 2 mins before meeting.There needs to be some facility within the app to verify the user, or a 'commit to meet' option…

Fix “Show me on explorer” and Distance.
Even if these features are TURN OFF. It doesn’t work. New profiles still finding your profile and Taping you. NEW users text you Saying you’re close to them.

What the fuck made you guys think that it was a good idea to allow ads to automatically open browsers on people's phone to malicious websites

Forcing ads to open browsers and links and do all kinds of idiotic dangerous shit is literally against your own terms of service..
I'm tired of seeing Firefox open just because I am logged into Grindr..

There needs to be mandatory profile face pics or a way to block no pic profiles from seeing your profile

Verified users should be marked and there should be a filter.
Start verifying users who put up their face pics. There’s too many fake profiles and users scamming people. Grindr needs to actively participate in the safety of the queer community. We are a minority and we do not have the same opportunities to meet people like the heteronormative social space. Verified users should be able to search other verified users.

UNSHARE ALL
Please add an UNSHARE ALL or RELOCK ALL feature in Album Sharing. I’m beginning to find that there are users from the past who still have access to my private album but who do not show up in the “shared with” list. Besides there being another glitch with your app, we occasionally need to unshare with all for privacy and safety reasons!

Let's make grindr safer.
For those who choose to pay we should be allowed to see others who pay and make our public profiles viable to others who pay to put our information on your app. Give us something with paying for and let us decide what information is given away to the public.

Allow users to opt out of being messaged by "recently joined" profiles unless a user initiated contact first
As Grindr allows users to have multiple profiles and unlimited or Xtra features transfer after a very short wait when switching profiles, the ability for abusive exes or stalkers to continue to pursue their victims by repeatedly creating new profiles to harass, bully, or threaten them renders the app unpleasant and at times unusable. Allowing individuals to opt out of being messaged by these profiles is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY as a free feature in the app to protect users. Or, better yet, since Grindr is capable of device banning individuals, why not allow users to opt out of being messaged or…

Block certain country
I get an illegall scam message every second day from Nigeria asking if If I want to be a sugar baby on snap, I swear to satan If I cant ban another country I will have to delete the app.

Allow me to appear offline to specific users.
Sometimes people can be way too persistent, and you'll want to feel free to use the app without making yourself available to those people. And while blocking people may be an appropriate course of action in some cases, there are other cases in which you may want to stay in touch with someone on only a limited basis. Blocking people who know you personally and to whom you may be subjected in real life can also create conflict which this feature could easily help people to avoid.

Everyone signing up must have a pic thats not public
To many got damn scammers and kids wtf at this point ya gotta be in on this shit. Let me get 20 bux for gas but u a mile away gtfoh Idk how many times I have been asked this scam ass question. Everyone should have to send a selfie with some type of photo ID so at least ya can verify who just blocked me after they commit a crime gesh

Since I started using this app, I have never, even once received a feedback on all of my reports against people who are underaged, people who harassed me on petty reasons, and people who are using another persons' photos/impersonation. We don't even know if you actually received our reports.
