We should see how many active users (online within the past week) have us favorited. We should also have the option to display this number on our public profile if we choose. You can call them followers ☺

There currently the feature to add notes to Favorite profiles, but sometimes I want to add a note to non-favorites. Either as a reminder of something we talked about, their name, or a warning that I didn’t enjoy talking to them.

Set location in a radius around your actual location for safety/privacy. So neighbors/family/co-workers/unwanted 3rd parties can't tell exactly where you are

Crowdsource veracity by allowing other users to vote whether they know or don't know another profile. Actual users who meet other users would be more likely to get upvoted, new users or dummy profiles would not get up votes and would stay at the bottom.

It would be great if copy paste was available on user profiles. Example: a user has a large message on their profile in Spanish. If I could copy & paste I would be able to translate

I am going to Colombia later this year. I don't speak Spanish. No problem with chat via copy message and Google translate. But very tiresome with the profile text. And understanding profile text content is important.

Can you make an update either enabling translating main languages profile text into english or make it possible to copy profile text so we can use the copied profile text for gogle translate.

Are you gay, ********, pansexual, an aro or ace person just looking to meet new cool guys? Being able to distinguish yourself by orientation, and filtering others by it would give people more common ground. It would also help certain vulnerable people (for example myself - a trans man) feel better being able to choose the people they feel safest around. As grindr has a progressive gender and pronoun label (sadly not searchable), I don't see a reason why there shouldn't be a sexuality label functioning as a search filter.

The profile section needs far more categories (cut/uncut, size, hairy/trimmed/shaved, kinks, etc. ) and we should be able to filter using ALL categories. And yes, this should include gender and status. It’s great that you’ve made the app more inclusive but that inclusiveness shouldn’t prevent us from searching for what we want.

Put in place a Hide or Disable Profile. For example, if you want to take a break and not completely delete your profile. Scruff, Bumble, and Tinder all have this option. When this feature is enabled, your profile is not searchable or viewable to anyone. You are completely hidden. Then when you are ready to go back, you can simply unhide your profile and still have your previous messages in your chat area. This makes it easy for people when they want to take a break but not delete their entire profile so they don’t lose chats.

Like in many applications, it should be possible to select a profile text to have it translated by Google Translate or else

Polyamorous relationships are intimate relationships between more than just 2 people. Based on consent (and open-minded/ heated communication), all partners commit to each other's wellbeing. All partners care for and love each other to various degrees.
The polyamorous Relationship Orientation is on the other side of the spectrum, compared to monogamous relationships.

At the moment, the lack of being able to select "polyamorous" as Relationship Orientation is not quite inclusive. In fact, it is very hurtful to poly-couples since it appears like heteronormative discrimination.
Something, that Grindr wants to oppose for sure.

Please add Polyamorous to the available relationship statuses. It's quite different than "open relationship" and those of us who are in poly relationships really have no suitable option in the drop down list as none of the ones you offer accurately include the polyamorous lifestyle.

Add "widowed" as an option for relationship status. Literally every other dating site/app has it. It's shocking Grindr doesn't.

Add a profile field for education, and let users filter by it.

Because Middle Easterners can be classified as White, Latinos can be White or Black, and those who are Mixed will be able to specify.
