1. Bring back ethnicity filter

   I am writing as a minority member of the LGBTQ+ community who has been deeply impacted by the removal of the ethnicity filter. Living in a predominantly white area, I have found it increasingly challenging to connect with others who share my cultural background and lived experiences. The filter previously enabled me and many others to create genuine connections and feel a sense of belonging that is often missing offline and within broader dating spaces.

   Please listen to the feedback from minority communities who rely on the app for more than romance—we depend on it for community, solidarity, and understanding.

5. There's such a strong theme in this app.

   They should create a well-defined filter for people who still believe it's possible to find a partner. The problem is that these filters may exist, but they're only available for a fee, and I don't think that's right. Because in the end we are all a community. I personally sometimes pay to find men who are genuinely more real in conversations and who aren't underage.They use fake photos of their uncles, parents, or other relatives because it's happened to me. And they only ask for money, what they call "a league" or "help." I really feel like this app has lost control. There weren't so many underage people here before. Second, it's impossible to find your type for the same reason, and those who are don't trust you because this whole situation is so complex and uncontrolled. There's such a persistent issue being used to harm others—homicides, murders motivated by homophobia, simply for not validating someone's identity. Everyone here is of legal age.That he can prove it in order to avoid bad times, a bad experience, and developing an aversion to the application. I also think it would be necessary to add a space for you to define what you like and another for what you don't look for because in life both are valid and it's not applied in Grindr.It's also a good idea to manage your account by having at least two albums, not just one private one. The goal is to have one with photos of each other that aren't obscene, and another with private photos, which isn't bad either. But there are a lot of restrictions on the location metrics; for example, if you find someone, they're very far away, and fences aren't your type, yet they appear as if they really were there.In my case it's exhausting because I like chubby, hairy, older men, and I don't see any filter for this other than mature men.I know there are older men who like younger men, I'm talking about 30 or 35, but there's no filter for those searches that doesn't require paying. And it's frustrating. Well, if you make any changes, I would appreciate it.

6. Mandatory sex field and filter

   I am a homosexual male and am only interested in finding members of the same sex, what this app was originally intended for. There are far too many women on the platform claiming to be "boys", "men", etc. This is really disconcerting and the current "gender" filter doesn't help much because it is not mandatory and buggy, I can't even set my "gender" and there are so many options it is just nonsensical and ridiculous. I've restricted it to "men" and "not specified" and, of course, I am still seeing many women trying to entice homosexual men into heterosexual sex.

8. To keep anything deleted for maybe 2 days before it is permanently deleted

9. I would love to see language tags!

   That way I could search "English," "ASL," or "German" and if they have the language tag I could find them. This could help people who want to find others who speak their language or help people who want to learn a language by meeting new people!

    Currently, many users (including myself) would like to connect with people who speak the same language, especially in multilingual countries like the U.S. However, when some users requested ethnicity-based filters, the app considered it discriminatory — which is understandable.

    That’s why I believe adding a language-based isolation or filter option would be a fair and inclusive solution. This feature would simply allow users to find others who communicate in the same language, without involving race or nationality.

    For example, I live in the U.S. but speak Arabic, and I’d love to meet other Arabic speakers nearby. I think this update would make the app more welcoming and relevant for diverse communities.

12. Add “wedgie” to kinks

    Please add “wedgie” to the kink tag, when searching for those with similar interests I typically have to do a combo of “underwear”, “humiliation”, and “kink” tags to find others who are interested and even then it is few and far between.

    Not transphobic but there has to be a fine line between gays looking for gays and guys looking for fem/trans. It seems more than half of the profiles I look at are looking for trans only, and this is very annoying being gay... A new app, or strong filters are necessary. 15. Flipfuck tag

    Being vers is hard enough, and finding people who are fully vers and not leaning one way or the other, a pain in the neck. This would be SO EASILY SOLVED through a flip-fuck tag... If it existed it would be the only tag I use. And explaining takes an ungodly amount of characters in the profile. In Spanish it's "Vuelta y Vuelta". I don't know in other languages. But it would make my grindr experience so much easier.

    I like a type of man. I have the option to put my ethnicity into my profile. If the option is there to put in my profile, there should be a filter to search for that ethnicity. It’s simple. Bring it back please. I can’t find the type of guy I like without scrolling needlessly.

    I would like that Gender is a mandatory selection when creating a profile. And that it is able to filter on this.
