Tinder Mode
Grindr could have a kind of "Tinder Mode" button, that when turned on would allow people to chat me only if we have sent mutual Taps. Everything in my profile, including online or offline status, would still be visible, the only difference would be the chat initially blocked for everyone.

Add swipe matching for farther reach
I hope it will have swipe matching feature like the other dating apps so I can reach not only my neighbors who know me but also in other cities by chance. And also to save TIME from abusers/rapists/posers in advance. I have privacy issues and someone used to blackmail me because of that. That nearby option alone is the reason why the app is brutal and invites more criminal. The DOMINO EFFECT it has in every user is so prominent.

We need to be able to get rid of the fake people on here . The ones that ask to chat in whatsapp or.yhe other websites where all the fake / posers are. For instance . I was chatting with someone only to find out that they didn't even live in this country and are using fake pics and distance to lure you in. This needs to stop. Select weight range along with "Not specified" similar to body types
You should be able to select weight range along with "Not specified" similar to body types. So you both get, for example people above 90 kg and people who have not specified their weight at all, this could be great for age as well, a lot of people don't really fill out their profiles and because this isn't an option you have to tinker with preferences constantly to keep finding people.
