Cambiar etiqueta "faje"
Hola,
Gracias

Taps and favourites
If you don’t like taps they’re the most annoying thing in the world, and yet you’ve made them central to the UI and made favourites (by definition already an area of prime interest) harder to use by applying residual filters to it; we’ve already done the hard work on selecting our favourites, we don’t need active filters applied.
Instead of all this dust rearrangement, how about your Product team spends more time detecting and blocking fake accounts? Actually add value for the customer rather than finding ways to fill a two week Sprint with nonsense.1 vote -
Open relationships
There should be filters to eliminate certain categories ie - open relationships, married, individual ethnicitys

the blocked profiles you recycle garbage
Why do I need grindr to recycle “BLOCKED” profiles - there’s no need for me to find them again if I blocked you - this doesn’t make sense. Its a PIA to have to waste my time “HIDING” them plus they take up real estate in finding what I am really looking for

Filter out men that are 100 miles or over
Filter out Men traveling and over 100 miles away . It is annoying trying to find someone online that is close and men 100 miles and over keep showing in my search as if they are close.

Can we write more and express more
Hey Grindr, I know you act like Monaco b**tch trying to get as much coins as you can. We gotta talk bestie. Those ads gurl? Like what? Force me sign up for premium? A hot bro will just be passing by, by the time the ad is done, the bro is gone. Keep it short please.
Enough of that:
But why are you limiting the number of words on the About*? We gurls in "Uganda" are not always ready to display our pictures . Allow us to express ourselves in full words , then the trustfund uncles who are interested…

Ethnicity Filter
Can we bring back the ethnicity filter? It's know the premise of why it was removed was because it was considered racist.. but that is the same as saying being gay is sexist? I cannot help the type of men I like

For You
The new ‘for you’ section needs refining. It should be possible to block them or favourite them. It doesn’t work atm because I might get rid of someone on the list simply because they are too far away rather than not my type. So please develop this so they can be added to favourites or blocked if def not my type.

Have a “current status” headline.
A current status headline would help users get an idea of what someone’s looking for in the moment. Rather than having to update the profile constantly.

Filtering age
I would like to suggest that you develop some way to filter profiles by height and age, for example, without excluding those who do not have this information in their profiles. For example, when I filter ages from 18 to 41, many profiles that are in this range but do not disclose their ages disappear from the result. So you could add a function that shows profiles without age even when filtering. The same applies to height and other data.

Add a "Lycra" Profile Tag
I suggest implementing a "Lycra" profile tag on Grindr. This would allow users to easily find others who share an interest in Lycra clothing, improving connections and filtering. A dedicated tag is more effective than relying on broader categories or keyword searches. Please consider adding this for a better user experience

Suggestions for Secure and Discreet Packaging
I’ve been looking into ways to discreetly package certain items for privacy reasons, and I came across an interesting discussion about food-safe and greaseproof wrapping solutions. Some types of parchment paper work really well, not just for baking but also for wrapping delicate items securely.
I read about different types of parchment paper and their uses here: https://parchmentpaper.co.uk/about-us/ – it was quite informative regarding eco-friendly and food-grade options.
Has anyone else tried alternative wrapping solutions for discreet and safe storage? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Customizable Profile Tags for Better Personalization
I really appreciate how Grindr allows users to express themselves, but I think adding customizable profile tags could make profiles even more engaging. Right now, users can choose from predefined options, but allowing people to create and display their own tags (like interests, relationship goals, or unique traits) could enhance interactions.
For example, I recently came across custom candle tags (here’s a reference www.candleboxes.co.uk/product/candle-tags/) that let brands personalize messages and branding. A similar concept in profiles where users can create and display personal tags could make it easier to connect with like-minded people.
Would love to hear thoughts on…

Meetup Planning & Location Suggestions
I think it would be great if Grindr introduced a feature that helps users plan meetups by suggesting popular cafes, restaurants, or safe public spots nearby. This could work by integrating location-based recommendations, making it easier to find a convenient place to hang out.
For example, when meeting someone for the first time, I usually prefer grabbing takeout or a quick meal. I recently came across some great food packaging solutions that keep meals fresh during takeout or delivery: www.packagingnyc.com/shop/food-boxes/
Would anyone else find a meetup planning feature useful? Would love to hear your thoughts!
