You switched filters again
Do you guys even know the meaning of "if it's not broke, don't fix it"? You change filters time and time again, for who knows what reason. Now it's impossible to choose age categories on the slider unless I spend minutes trying to move it to exactly where I want. Who thought that was a good idea? Stop trying to improve things and just make them simpler. K.I.S.S.

Longer bios
Allowing for more characters in bio allows one to flesh out personal details, desires, info, etc, as opposed to using shorthand. Those who want to keep bios brief can, but as Grindr seeks to expand and cater to different crowds, perhaps a longer bio could help with diversifying the app’s usage.

Negate filter
The Negate Filter would function as a complementary tool to the existing filter options, allowing users to define the attributes or preferences they do not wish to encounter in potential matches. By implementing this feature, Grindr users would gain greater control over their search results, ensuring a more tailored and satisfying experience.

A not interested tap !
Give the option to tap someone with not interested. As a “precaution” you could only enable it after someone taps you to avoid misuse or other.

There should be a tag for “first responder” to include EMS/police officer/fire fighter

Taps should appear as messages
Missing out when your guy taps you because you forget to check the taps tab sucks! Instead, we should show taps in the message thread alongside your conversation history. Keep them as a conversation starter.

Make an option for out status.
Add a general information tab for how out you are completely out out to some in the closet to family can’t even be seen on public lol.

Bisexual should be a tribe and not a tag. Or there should be more profiles visible with the bi tag. For transwomen who don’t want chasers.
As transwoman who don’t like dating chasers but are open to dating men it would be fair to have more access to profiles of bisexual men. Because it’s not a tribe but a tag only three profiles are being shown to me. This is very limiting to trans women trying to have real dates in the app.

See "my note" over preferred profile list
It would be very useful to be able to see "my note" on preferred profile list..... Simply a way to remember who is that guy that I see on my preferred list without enter on his profile (and let him know that I looked at him again)

Lost chats
How about a proper download of your previous chats. I frequently break phones it's mildly frustrating to loose a chance or miss out because your conversations are gone.

The new filtering system is a nightmare
Please simplify the filtering system at the top of the app. It's almost impossible to figure out how it works without trying multiple options. It was much better before!

increase from 3 profiles to 30-50, or make a feature where you have to watch ads to unlock profiles
there are people who are in places where in the feed there’s not much people to hook up with, or they’re being rejected constantly. because of that, guys would rely on the map to find someone they like, but i don’t think making people spend £10 per week just to be able to use the map properly is fair for anyone who lives in areas in london where they don’t have a fair chance of meeting someone.
this isn’t just in london, this is anywhere in the world. just please create this feature-

Tired of getting hit on by people I have no interest in and never will. It's bullshit that I get all of the people I'm not interested in in my feed even worse I'm showing up in their feed.

Filtering out non matches
These days of inclusion cater to pretty much everyone. But have you noticed it's really hard to find your type now? For one, there's lots of trans and guys who only want trans or CD - which is great that they're included, but they aren't most of our type/the other way around.
I propose a way of uniting these trans seekers/ trans people with their type by putting them in their own section, away from the main grid. This will benefit everyone else too, cause these people will be off the main grid, making the experience better for everyone. Trans…7 votes
