As a result I find myself cutting the sound of my phone off. This is highly inconvenient

Move the ad bar back down to the bottom.
Please move the ad bar (the one you see when viewing messages etc) back down the bottom of the screen or place it all the way up top. Right now it sits weirdly in the middle and the constant mis-clicks make the app unusably annoying. I get that maybe y’all get more ad revenue based on the placement, but I think the current UI is a bit too far.

Hide pinned Messages filter
In the messages Filters allow an option to hide pinned messages, unless you receive a new unread message. So your pins would be otherwise in their usual place in chronological order, and when you deactivated this setting, your pins would be displayed at the top of the list.
Activate the setting and the pins disperse, leaving you an easy to view space at the top of the screen to view the inbox.
Also. Give us a “mark as unread” capability. In case we open a message but don’t have time to respond.21 votes -
Filters selecting profiles for group chat
Right now, it's nearly impossible to find specific profiles when adding someone to group chat. Standard filter to select on age, type, tribe... Would make this feature usable. I have many favorites, so I often can't add someone to a group chat.
Oe better yet, allow one to select based on inbox messages.

Allow us to delete all current message history for both parties in the message, sometimes you just want to restart w/out making new account.
Delete messages for both sides. Sometimes you just wanna clear all chats and restart, but you pay for subscription so you don’t want to make a new profile. I know we can delete the messages from us, but I wanna know it deletes on their side too. Sometimes you send the wrong message or something, or you need to send a picture to set things up, but you want to be able to delete your picture after. Mark as unread
Sometimes we receive messages, we read it and we’re not able to reply immediately, the messages are marked as read and then they get lost when we receive new messages from others users and we forget. It would be great a feature “mark as unread” so we can get back to them later filtering unread messages.

Picture Exchange
There should be an option of picture exchange. I fill the box with my pic at my end. But it won't be displayed to you unless you fill yours at your end. When both boxes are filled and sent, pictures can be seen at both end.

Most tapped list
Create a most tapped in the last hour/day list. This may make taps a bit less hated. I don’t mind taps but it seems like at least 1 in 5 profiles has someone expressing their dislike of taps. By introducing the most tapped list people may enjoy the ego boost :p

If a message is wrongly sent or we come to know we shouldn't be posting the message, we should be able to delete nessage from both sides
