4. Ban device when it highly necessary

   Stop banning devices without any reason as instance if someone use spoof location, you know that your application is capable to stop them so banning that device is unnecessary and lose of users, And he/she definitely will raise ban appeal, this will also increase unnecessary burdon on moderators, burdon leads hiring more moderators and hiring more moderators leads wast of money.

   So, sir/mam i request you to stop this and use that money on making application more working, this will reduce the dependency on advertisement to make application free.

   And instance was mine, i was using spoof location for other application and forgot it's working in background and opened grindr by mistakenly. That's how I was detected and got device banned. I have raised ban appeal and ask form apology but they will take long time as i expect 🥲

   This would make it possible to avoid being banned for nothing, because the real identity will have been proven despite the reports of people who report out of disappointment rather than for a real reason.

8. Report location spoofing

   Allow users to report suspected gps spoofing. When I go into this app to read a message and it says the person is 1 mile away and by the time I read the message and respond they are 345 miles away. It is not possible to do that and if you’re going to manipulate and lie about your location I’m going to assume you’re lying about other things and that you aren’t on this app to meet anyone and are probably in here for illegal reasons. I live in a rural area where most of the time the closest guy is 4 miles away and so I don’t want to have to deal with people faking their location. If you’re within a mile of me you live on 1 or 2 streets in 1 of about 50 houses. It’s real easy for me to pick up when someone is lying about their location.

    Ever since the last update every time I click on a profile then go back, the screen automatically refreshes and jumps back to the top of the list. It's infuriating to navigate the app now and makes me want to delete it which would cause me to lose money I've already paid for the ultimate package.

    Admins/Moderators need to start getting insight and evidence from those being reported for Grindr Community and Policy Guidelines instead of automatically disabling the so called "violators" profile. You are way too quick to believe the reporter without speaking with the person reported.     After being a long-standing user of Grindr, making use of all it has to offer in a respectful and honest way, two days ago my account got randomly banned. No warning. My profile had not changed and in my mind did not overtly break the guidelines. I would like warnings on such drastic action please...as this would help users to rectify any unintentional violation of Grindr‘a rules or guidelines. Removing a users account immediately without warning wipes away the access to a supportive network of people that user has come to know and trust. It also isolates the user at a time when vulnerabilities are at their highest. In fact, in my case, it left me in potential danger as I was meeting with a person from the app and was on my way to meet them as my account got banned. I was traveling far to meet this trusted person. The removal of my account stopped me messaging this person. At that point, I was in a vulnerable position in an unknown place unable to seek help and reassurance from the grindr user I had come to trust. To my original point, please give warnings if a user inadvertently breaks the rules as simply removing them does not help anyone. Users need to know the errors in order to change behaviour whilst using the app.
