1. Cis gay nipples are acceptable but trans nipples are not?

   This app is notorious for torso pics. I’ve been on it on and off it since it’s inception. In Jan 2023, Instagram formally edited their bilaws to accept “protest” as a reason to allow all nipples, meaning roughly, that even that family-friendly app allows the nudity of women’s nipples so long as you add the hashtag #freethenipple. I’m a trans woman who transitioned btwn 25 and 31. Years ago I could do a headless pic, no problem, now I’m using iPhone tech to edit out my nipples on photos for this app more than I am Twitter or Insta or Snapchat. To prove it, I posted the photo that I asked to moderate here—I’m in green, nipples showing slightly through a mesh bodysuit—to my Insta, Gigiravine, with the aforementioned hashtag four hours ago. It’s still posted at time of posting this, but that same photograph here is inappropriate? I kinda figured that a company marketed to LGBTQ+ individuals might have a bit of a more of an inclusive attitude than meta.

2. Allow transgender men/ AFAB individuals to post photos to their profile that other cis men can.

   I am a transgender man and I’ve been using grindr for about three years (on and off). The one thing that I find disappointing about grindr is that cis men can use pictures of them without clothes (genitals covered) on their profile, but transmen/AFAB people cannot. I try adding a picture as showing as much body/skin that a cis man is showing, but mine gets rejected. This is incredibly transphobic and it’s clear grindr doesn’t care to adjust the criteria for pictures uploaded to a users profile. They are saying I’m not a man therefore I can’t do the same thing real men can do about the images used on their profile

7. Equality

   My profile pictures had 0 nudity and I had a moderator remove all of them. There's plenty of profiles that show nudes and nothing is done about any of them. Some of these profiles were reported and today they're still there. Grindr is nothing like Sniffles but at least they're FAIR to everyone.

11. Fix Banning System

    Called out a pretty obvious catfish for being a fake profile (but did not report them yet, which I now regret.) At this accusation, they got very upset and said that I was actually the catfish (I'm clearly not) and that they were reporting me as a fake profile. About 4 hours later, I tried to login and saw that I was banned. Was given no prior warning or opportunity to prove my identity in any way, which, as a paying customer, is completely ridiculous. The moderation team is a complete joke at this company and it's insane that I got booted off the platform as a real person, while this actual catfish is presumably still using the app and probably reporting anyone else who accuses them of being a fake. As a recently out person in a non-LGBT area this is devastating and extremely frustrating, and I feel like there's nothing I can do to resolve this. Fix your shitty app, Grindr!

    En muchos países latinos usuarios heterosexuales buscan vender drogas. Peor aún, amenazan a los gays que los reportan o no buscan comprar. Chile, mi país, es quizá el caso más delicado y extremo. Casi la mayoría de perfiles son de heterosexuales que incluso ahora buscan relaciones sexuales entre sí. Por último facilitar una opción de bloquear varios perfiles a la vez... Aunque sigo pensando que la mejor opción es que Grindr bloqueé y de baja aquellos perfiles por dirección de IP para que no puedan volver a la app con una cuenta nueva.     The group making in this app is so irritating ... While making a group, it should show the recent chats but it never does it .. and we never find what we are looking for .. also .. while making a group .. we don't get an option to search the profile name .. that's bad .

16. Need a safe space or Service Tribe within platform for non bot and non scam space in app to meet real people no dick pics zone

    You have to grow with the reality that scammers are running easy predictable scams that anyone with a degree in english can flag and then an algorithm that can clean up a sizeable problem especially in the trans tribe space. Same scheme. Lets meet and first send me money. Your site is infested with the scam and i can only block so many before i want to leave the app entirely for its lack of concern for keeping the space non creepy. If you create a zone that is more for serving and networking in the community we can encourqge the younger generations in Grindr to connect to each oyhers not only sexually but in community and civility, education and participation in progress in pride. Which is to say have a space or tribe that agree to higher standards and don't make them oay but encourage and facilitate their engagement in LGBQT proactive networking to protect the most vulnerable (hence no dick pic in this triabel zone called Service because younger generation need a place to be LGBQT’s without having to be sexy sexual sexualized ir sexed - though there be few who need it. We need them. And they need this).

17. Moderate profiles for all types of discrimination INCLUDING ageism

    I find it dismaying and unbelievable that any member who considers them selves apart of the LGBTQ 2+ community anywhere, since he gets appropriate to discriminate against their brothers and sisters, based on race, sexuality, gender, physical appearance, age and health status and it is no longer considered a criminal offence if you do not disclose it. HIV is now a manageable chronic condition using antiretroviral drugs for EVERYONE. Comments regarding physical attributes like “fat” “bald” “ugly” should have no place in a profile. Discrimination on gender, negative or inappropriate stereotypes, physical appearance and AGE are inappropriate and are private preferences that need not be public. Calling someone out because of age or gender choice or sexual orientation is just as wrong as using the “N-word” or other negative slurs. Consideration for the senior members of your community is everyone’s duty - those that are age 50+ should be given the respect they have earned and rightly deserve.

    Make a filter to only show men 50 miles away or less as this is Grindr and it started as a gay app I would like to only see Men not trans or females in my search also make a std filter to show negative negative on prep poz or poz undetectable in the search. Also make a host or travel filter and a has a vehicle or not filter would be great too as well as a multiple block by holding down on there pics would be great to make room for my type vs going one by one
