Unfair Account Ban and Inadequate Appeal Review
My account was permanently banned for allegedly offering or requesting paid sexual services, despite never engaging in such behaviour. The ban notice indicated that automated measures were used, and after waiting nearly two months for an appeal review, I received only a generic response stating that the decision was final, without any explanation, evidence, or indication that a meaningful human review had taken place. As a long-term user who has always used Grindr for its intended purpose, I find this process unfair and lacking transparency. Bring back the block function.
Hiding the profiles does not work and often the profile pops back up. I don’t see why hiding is better than blocking when both are reversible.

Biological Men Only!
Restrict the Trans Individuals from entering into the app, and remove the option for identity, deceiving people by not disclosing transgender status one is a violation of informed consent there for is sexual misconduct! And this app is for gay men the way it was built originally stop allowing trans individuals from invading a space built for MEN

Je vous contacte une nouvelle fois concernant un faux profil utilisant mes photographies et mon identité sur votre plateforme.
Malgré de multiples signalements effectués auprès de vos services, vous n'avez apporté aucune réponse à mes demandes et le profil concerné demeure actif. Cette personne continue ainsi d'utiliser mes photos sans mon consentement, de se faire passer pour moi et de porter atteinte à mon image en toute impunité.
La situation est d'autant plus grave que l'auteur de ce faux profil m'a adressé à plusieurs reprises des insultes et des menaces. Ces faits vous ont été signalés, mais aucune action…

This app should be directly those in the LGBTQIA
I’m a MTF just started my Journey as of month. I see to many straight women & men on here which is school but I think this app should be for strictly for members of the LGBTQIA community who I identify as Lesbianc Gay, Trans, Non Binary, Cis, Bisexual & Queer. Also add features like support groups, sports, or fun meetups in the area u live in.

Make Grindr more informative and educational.
Many people who sign up do not know what terms like “top,” “bottom,” or the different tribes mean. They may also not understand profile descriptors such as “toned” or “large.” Please provide clear explanations for these terms, especially during the registration process and when users are selecting options. It would also be helpful to require users to acknowledge that they have read this information before continuing.

Hello,
I previously had a Grindr account registered with my phone number. I believe someone else may have used my phone and sent messages without my permission. After that, I was unable to access my account, and it was banned.
I was surprised that my account was permanently banned without any warning or notice. I would appreciate it if you could review my case and reconsider the ban.
I believe users should receive warnings before a permanent ban is applied, especially when there may be a misunderstanding or unauthorized use of the account.1 vote -
Longer video chats
Allow for us to call someone on a video chat and let it be for more than just one minute before cutting off the feed. It’s so hard nowadays to trust a picture and with so many people trying to catfish. It’s really nice and comforting to know that I could video chat somebody and make sure that they are who they say they are. Allowing just one minute, isn’t enough time to get a feel for somebody and really get to know them and get comfortable enough to wanna meet them in person. I think it would be safer…

Fake/spam profiles harming experience; need stricter verification and bans to protect user trust.
Repeated fake and irrelevant (women/heterosexual spam) profiles are appearing on the app, which is negatively affecting the real user experience.
Please take strict action such as permanent bans, better verification, and stronger filters. If this issue is not resolved, user trust and app usage will both decrease.3 votes
