Profile picture videos
Clicking a profile picture to play a clip like Facebook has. Maybe a 30 clip of someone saying a little about themselves when you click their profile picture.

Stop charging ridiculous subscription fee
Nothing but druggie upon druggies. Probably have diseases you guys charge ridiculous fees, but how are you even protecting your customers health. you guys act like you guys are doing some kind of medical screening or putting things in place so that people aren't spreading their nasty diseases around so the people that don't pay for the subscriptions get limited on who they can talk to but for my experiences, you're just paying to talk to druggies. Scrap Xtra, introduce Ad-Free Basic subscription & lower prices
Recently Grindr deprecated the Viewed Me feature available in Xtra without any prior notice. This needs to be restored as Xtra is just not worth having without it.
Grindr is now purely a money grab as the free app is so badly hobbled by adverts that you can't escape from, so you try to force your customers to pay for Unlimited. Not on!
Reduce the price of both Xtra & Unlimited and more users would sign up.

Ability to disable account and reenable account rather then deleting account
When taking a break from Grindr all I can do is delete account. Would be great if I could just hide account for a while and just enable when I come back. I had a lot of drama restoring subscription last time I removed my account.

Video as a profile pic. Upload video for sharing

Allow Cross Platform Logins and Backup
I have 2 devices, 2 subscriptions, 1 Apple, 1 Android. I cannot restore the subscriptions if I switch them unless I'm on the device I used to register the subscription.
Additionally I cannot backup/restore the chat across platforms, they have to stay Android/Apple focused.
In essence when you buy a subscription, it's not YOU that's subscribed, it's the DEVICE you're using.
Fix it by allowing a login to your XTRA account on any device regardless of platform, and allow chat BACKUP to one solitary solution, e.g Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud - but don't make it a mandatory selection based on…

Greedy Grindr
Grindr keeps implementing unwanted functionality and limiting normal functionality, while stuffing the app with ads. You can really see the company is owned by investment agencies who want nothing else but to see as much return on investment, as soon as possible.
The amount of people one can see is becoming less and less and the filters that can be used keep getting limited. Meanwhile, Grindr is implementing features that literally nobody asked for, such as albums, stupid GIFs and dumb gaymoji I’ve never seen anyone use if not accidentally.

High resolution pictures
High resolution pictures please. We have phones capable of taking pictures in 8K now and Grindr still violently compresses pictures. They look so muddled. Thanks 👍🏻

Regional pricing
Please consider setting up regional pricing. Prices for Eastern Europe countries are ridiculously high. You can get Amazon Prime for a year with what one month costs on Grindr. To get fair prices based on average wages for Poland in comparison to USA, they need to be cut by 50% at least. Thanks for understanding.

Notes on Non-favorites
There currently the feature to add notes to Favorite profiles, but sometimes I want to add a note to non-favorites. Either as a reminder of something we talked about, their name, or a warning that I didn’t enjoy talking to them.

Just like private pictures you are able to share with others, you should be able to have a few private personal videos that you can share with another chatter if you want to, of course private pictures and videos by permission only.

Multi Block
Whoever runs this app continues to remove filters. So add one where we can multi select profiles and block a bunch at the same time. I block 15 to 20 profiles a day because I’m not interested in women.
