Can we have a sexual orientation displayed on profiles not just gender?
The amount of straight curious men just got so out of hand on Grindr. Some of this men are just fetishising Transwoman on the app and some trans enables it making it look more look like just a pure sex app. If we have this sexual orientation filter (rather than just gender) we can have the option to see people base on their orientation and find more options for us

Trans need they're own app too many on here
Grindr was supposed to be a gay hookup or dating app not for trans people that are guys to female or female to male or the ones they're looking for a male and female couple or the ones that say they're straight or the hustlers or the masseuses it should be just guys looking for guys everyone else should not be allowed on the site and also these young kids that keep popping up on here and they're reported and they create another ad. STD Status other than HIV
There are other STDs that are very common for example Herpes, HPV, etc. Grindr has an incredible potential to be an early warning system/ allow queer people to anonymously report or receive an anonymous notification if someone you’ve met suddenly tests positive. Or for people currently living with an Incurable STD it would allow us to meet others with the same to meet and help stop or limit transmission as a whole.

It's going too much long distance,still there are nearby between 5to 8 miles still most of the people are from 999miles away,why anyone wants a foreign country?we need to filter between location so we can find people between the selected miles..

Restore fresh faces
Please remove the limit on fresh faces. It was a really good way to meet with people that were far from you. Putting a limit on this on top of all the other restrictions; when it was free at first, is kinda shitty.
There was an update where fresh faces was an unlimited grid. That really helped get connections that were interesting and although distant it was fun.
Fresh faces also really help users who don’t have many profiles near them or users who dont find their “type” near them.Now the fresh faces grid is limited to just 6…

Distance filter for everyone!
Nearest profiles I keep getting are over 100km away! Very rarely do I see someone from my area or at the very least the next city (25km) I’m also aware that the app doesn’t show me everyone, as i have a bunch of friends that live nearby that also use Grindr and they either can’t see me while I can see them, or the other way around despite having filters off for testing purposes. I also receive taps from profiles with tags I have filtered and are near, but I couldn’t see them prior to receiving the tap from them.…

Country Choose
I live close to the boarder, and more than half my options live in a different country. What's the point, and why would I EVER spend money on the overpriced subscription when I can't meet half these guys anyway? Make it more firndlynas many people outside the US, live in boarder areas.

Allow filtering by hiv status to allow poz guys find other poz guys
It would make such a huge difference to poz guys if you could let us find other poz guys. This won’t get many upvotes because it doesn’t affect most users but for those of us who are poz it would be a huge improvement to our lives to be able to find other poz guys, so please please implement this 🙏. Perhaps the filter can only be visible to guys who have their hiv status as poz on their profile if you’re worried about prejudiced people abusing the filter. Str8 Trans Attracted category
Have a category for straight men that are attracted to transforming to identify themselves as . The majority of Trans. Women are not gay and the men that like Transwoman are not gay either. Grindr may have gender pronouns but it does not support Transpeople by separating gender from sexual orientation. Grinder is dieing because of females and Trans. If you are allowing them here then give me a filter so I don't have to see them AND they can NOT see me. Just a preference so enable it so there is less hate and less whining!!! This used to be an awesome gay men site! Now it's being destroyed

Stop having everything be payed
I think it's so stupid to give us the options for body types and ages but then try to charge me to view that and if I don't I'm stuck with types I'm not into, and having to pay to just view people near you is stupid I understand the taps, and who viewed you but you should allow us to view people for free.

I’ve been using this app for various years now and I think I could say I have a fair understanding of how it works. I’ve noticed there’s not a lot of options when it comes to chubbier guys. Restore the original ethnicity filter option back.
I'm a white male and I live in a area that there's very little to none diversity. Before the ethnicity filter got removed, it made it a lot more easier to find different people of race and color but since it's removal, it's so hard to find them anymore. It would make it so much more better if the filter got restored back to it's former glory and I could meet different people
