Messages not sending or receiving. Major bug. It needs an update
This is a new bug affecting a lot of people. Sometimes reinstalling the app helps, but now the only fix for me personally is deleting my account and recreating if, until the issue happens again within a few hours.

Saving our own photos
You should be able to save your photos. First of all, you lose them when you delete the app which sucks, but a significant amount of my photos I took in the moment on the Grindr camera and they turned out really fucking good. I want to be able to use them elsewhere. Plus the fact that they basically are gone forever since they’re only on Grindr if I delete the app also makes it worse. Screenshoting them all individually sûcks and it’s not as good when you crop out the boarders and stuff.

Ummm do a better job at banning the correct people
How come you can’t block out fake accounts or people who steal photos but ban random accounts and their ip addresses over nothing???? What is the whole point of being on this app if you can’t even use it anymore because they block you

Fix Block Feature!
The Block Feature not working has become a safety issue that Grindr is ignoring. I will never again pay to use this app for this reason! There is simply no excuse for this. Having to block the same people 10x a day is ludicrous and proves that Grindr doesn't really care about user safety or security as this has been an open issue FOREVER!

Messages not being delivered and the app constantly dropping out and app is up to date

Social Media Filter
Include a filter to display profiles who have their social media connected. It would be better if we could filter by specific type, so if you're looking for Twitter and Insta, you don't see the profiles with only Spotify connected.

Restore Distance Visibility
The whole point of this app was to help us find people closer to us for whatever but unfortunately that hasn't been the case recently. Recent updates on the app have taken the feature that allows you to see how far or near someone is from you on the app. Take for instance, I have had people randomly hit me up and we really hit it off only to realise we were in two different countries far apart. "Viewed me" function
Is the viewed me function no longer available for view anymore for the free version?
I used to be able to click on the most recent profile that has viewed me, but now it seems no longer available.Thanks.

Update screwup
Every update makes this app worse. Today’s update erased all my favourites notes. Thanks idiots!!
When you send a pic in a DM now, and then go back to the grid, when you return to the DM the photos are gone. When you send a message it briefly shows like the message has been received. Getting notification sounds but no messages. The list goes on. What a fuckup!!!!31 votes -
Nearby v. Explore
My nearby is very inaccurate. Yep People much closer to me only appear when I “explore”. What has changed?!!! Fix it! 😆

Auto refresh
Please get rid of the auto refresh, or add an auto refresh customization tab w/in settings. Allow to toggle "manual/auto" within settings.

Change notification sound on iOS (it’s easy on Android)
It is difficult or impossible to change the notification sound on iOS. This is not the case on android. It’s quite easy to make it sound like anything you want however, on iOS you seem to be stuck with the default sound which is a dead giveaway if you’re in a restaurant or someplace.

New profile pic
when someone updated a new profile picture on grindr he automatically showed on the fresh search category , but how come he is not Appears also on the nearby search category? If he is still nearby :) nearby category of search is the must popular and viewed, its a pity that for the first 24 hours you get less viewed because you have a new profile pic.

Update the app again
It’s keeps freezing up and lagging on my iPhone, making the phone also feel really hot to the touch. Doesn’t happen with any other app on my phone or on android, so there’s obviously some more “bugs to fix” 😝😊

The latest update is nothing shy of annoying
It appears a lot of ppl are not happy with the latest update. I'm one of them.
There are two issues the developers need to address.
1. The auto update is nothing shy of annoying. Is every 30 seconds really necessary? No, it's not. Let thr user update the grid on their own.
2. The who Viewed me. I can see when the list is updated. However. I have to click on the list to actually see who viewed me, then scroll down the grid to find them. The old version would show who viewed you when you scrolled down…28 votes -
Restore full access to taps
Time limiting taps and putting it behind an already extortionate paywall is a joke. Using Grindr is a near-useless miserable experience now for non-paying users.

Albums should not have a share limit imposed
I thought my album is simply an easy to send collection of photos you already had permanently sitting there for you to pick from to send anyway. So just like attaching five photos to a message I had assumed you can add this album as many times as you like. Low and behold today the app told me I have to delete some sent albums before I can send more! It simply doesn’t make sense or make things easier. Remove the "Say something box" from profile page. It blocks the persons about me information and theres no way to read it.
Click on a profile via browse. Notice the "Say something" box. If the profile has something in their "about me" section, it can't be ready most the time.
